I made this simple little purple necklace.
And then had to make one a bit more complicated.
And earrings to match.  All headed for #STITCHESSouth

Another necklace...........

.............headed to Nashville for #STITCHESSouth  http://www.knittinguniverse.com/south2015
The parts and pieces for this piece have been together on my work table for ages and ages.  I just finally took some time to make jewelry.
I just love the soft texture the mat finish beads give the piece.  The stacked blue lampwork flower just stands out.
And of course we have earrings.

New Necklace

The beads for this necklace have been laying on my work table for almost a year all set aside to make this necklace up.  I seem to not be giving myself time to make new jewelry.
That is something that I just really must change.  I love making jewelry.
I did get this piece ready in time to bring it to Omaha for the show.  So come and see it for yourself. It is so much nicer in person. I just can not seem to take great pictures of these large necklaces.  Of course we have also had rainy drizzly days all week which does not help.
I almost forgot I did make some new earrings to go with the necklace.

Lovely Fall inspired Jewelry Today

If you are looking for the Choosy Chicks blog hop you can click here http://tanyamcguire.blogspot.com/2014/08/choosy-chicks-choose-chicklets-blog-hop.html
I love love love this amber and mineral green combo.  I have made these beads many times and I always have to make some jewelry out of them.
This time I was aiming for enough big almost focal size beads to make one of these glass and fiber necklaces.
I actually got carried away and made enough and then some so I still have a few on my work table.
I couldn't help myself and made a whole series of necklaces and earrings. I made a few bracelets too but you will have to wait for another day to see those.
I have to try and find some more of these post findings I love them so and have had them in my collection long enough I do not know where they came from.
Okay if you are getting really tired of looking at this lovely coppery goodness this is the last picture for today.  Hope you like them.  If you would however like to see them in person I will be at Stitches Midwest in Schaumburg IL this coming weekend and you can see them there.

New Necklaces for the spring shows.

I have started a new series called "Stone Age" and this is the first piece in the series called "Saber Tooth".
It changed as I put it together as often things do.  But it lays really nice and is a fun piece.
This is the next piece in the series and it is called "Wilma Steps Out".  I have had the most fun making hollows this last few months.  I started last fall and I just can not seem to stop making them.
The center front beads are a good inch and a half across if they are not closer to two inches.
There are several shapes.and for some reason the lumpier they are the more I like them.  Of course I made earrings to go with both necklaces and will have some of the beads next week in Tucson.

I'm in love........

..........with this new piece of jewelry.  It is one of those pieces where I had been working on something else and there were parts of things laying about on my work table.  They just called to be put together into a new necklace.
This piece also came out with those great colors of copper and a patina.
I of course had to make a couple pair of earrings to go with the necklaces.
This pair also goes with a new statement necklace I showed you last week.
I want to remind everyone that there are only a few more days to get entered for the Free Bead drawing.  Check out the post here so you know all the ways you can enter.

New Daisy flowers and Necklace

I have been working on some new little flower beads.  These little daisy's are smaller than my other flowers.  They are only about 3/4 of an inch across and I try to make them even smaller than that.  I just love their tiny, dainty look.
I of course had to make them in some nice bright colors and will be putting some on Etsy as soon as I finish up with this post.
I just love the look of these so much I had to really quick make up a new necklace to show them off.  I am in love with how this piece fits just right at the base of my neck and would keep it for myself if I ever really wore jewelry, but instead I will probably be showing it at my next show.
The close up shows just how much the piece looks like a garden with blooms bursting out all over.

Some new Jewelry.........

...........that I got finished in time to take to the Bead Fair in DesMoines.  (If you want to know more about the show check out yesterdays post.)  I have wanted to make these wrap necklaces for a while.  They are long about 48" with no clasp, so you can wear them single or wrapped to make multiple strands.

They have all kinds of little treasures in the strand and I made several colors.  I honestly had trouble stopping as they were just so much fun to put together and decide which bead might be fun to add next.

I of course had to make some earrings to go with the necklaces.  Since I wanted to tie in the seed beads from the strand I made a tiny seed bead flower which is a take off of one in the October/November 2009 issue of Beadwork Magazine.

The earrings of course had to come in all the colors too.

Work Table Wednesday

I made a necklace similar to this one back in June of 2012.  You can see it here.
I really liked the texture and how it sat just below the collar bone.  So the other day I decided to make something just about like it but of course had to make some beads first.  I just got it all finished up.
I of course made a pair of earrings to go with it.  I so love the red and black and for some reason these earrings feel sort of Oriental to me.

Work Table Wednesday

I have to tell you that my table has gotten a little messy again.  I am still trying to organize my stuff, one so I can find it, but more importantly so I can put it away.  It was so nice when I wanted peanut beads to know right were they were, even though I now have two boxes of shaped seed beads.
I made these two little necklaces to show off my new leaf sets.  I also got a kiln full of beads made so it was a pretty productive day.

Work table Wednesday

Wow more than a week since my last post.  Not doing too well on that goal for this month, and I got off to such a great start.  I'm here now though with a little bit of what is on my table today.  I have loved LavenderField on Etsy for a long time and just love her use of fiber in her jewelry.  From what I can see she uses these great little fiber pieces that are like disks.  I of course think my beads need to be in there with the fiber.  So I decided to crochet a bunch of little circles like you can see in the above picture.

Then I strung them with some of my beads.  I like the look of it but of course don't have enough beads and will have to make some more before I can finish the piece.  I also need to learn some tension control as my disks are sure not a pretty as hers.
I also finished up a few row counter bracelets that I have been making beads for.  I know it is November but spring and shows will be here in a big hurry.

I hope that everyone has a fabulous holiday tomorrow.   Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy family, fun, and food.
