Well here are a few more sets of beads for your viewing pleasure. As you can see I am still having fun with the etching solution. I will be taking all of these beads this weekend to Artsplash in Sioux City Iowa. Brandon and I are leaving in the morning as the show starts tomorrow evening. Come out and visit us if you are in that area. If you need more info in the show here is a link to the official site.

HI there! I did not get to make any beads today because I have been out all morning hunting for a new dryer. But by tonight I should get to do the laundry. Jeff has tried for three days to fix mine and can not find what is wrong with it. So the shopping trip. This is a set I made the other day and I am really liking it. I think maybe it needs to be made in pink and purple too.

Finally............ something new to look at.

These are a few of the sets I have made this last week. All kind of the same yet different. I have been really getting into the difference between the etched and not etched glass and how it really seems to change the look of the beads. With these the etched set seems more earthy while the other is more classy. That is just my opinion of course.

Well I am too tired to go take pictures of beads but this is what the cat was doing the other day when I was trying to get all my jewelery back in the case after our trip. The cat is really in the bag not out of it.

I'm Back.......................Scary isn't it!

It is funny but it is hard to get back into the groove and there were so many chores to do before I could really get back to making beads. The house is still a wreck but then it always is so no worries. At least I have made a few beads in the past few days. I also brought home a wicked cold which happens almost all the time when I fly and so many flights in such a short time just about did in my ears. Any way on to the eye candy. Have a good day! The bracelet I made while I was still in Florida I think I have had this set out to do since last November and I finally got it made up.
Some lady bug beads for the store in Huron.

And some tiny tot beads for a customer here in town. These are way smaller than you think from the picture. None of them are bigger than a quarter inch.

Hi! I am sure many of you thought I dropped off the face of the planet. Not so but I have been on one heck of a ride these last couple of weeks. Brandon (my son) and I came home from Florida only to have to try to get a flight right back. My husband lost his mother to an 18 year battle with Ovarian Cancer in a matter of hours after we had gotten on the first plane. It hit kind of hard she had fought so hard for so long I am not sure that we did not think she would fight this one out once again.

It has made me think harder about many things I had already been thinking about and about some that had just been sitting in the back of my mind for a while. If we do not get up tomorrow have we treated our family the way we truly wanted to treat them or have we gone through the day without really recognizing they are there. Have we treated ourselves the way we should. Did we enjoy the day or just go through it. Do our jobs mean something or are we just working for things. Any way that has been where my body and soul have been so now I am going to go sit in a very quiet living room (everyone went one way or another this morning) and make a bracelet just for the fun of it.

Hi! We are still in hot steamy Florida melting even in the air conditioning. We may have to stay a while longer than expected due to an illness in the family so it might get pretty boring around here for another few days. ( As if it hadn't been already)

Hi again from very hot and humid Florida. You know they keep talking about humidity in South Dakota and it is nothing compared to here I get out of the car and my glasses fog up so bad I can not see out of them for ten to fifteen minutes. I finally got to do a little shopping today and of course bought some new beads to play with when I get home.

I did the trunk show at Margie's Saturday and had loads of fun seeing lots of friends from when we lived there, but I forgot to take the camera so there are no pictures. I did however take it yesterday to the family party but those are just pictures of people eating way too much food and talking until their ears rang, so I am not even going to show them. :-)

Will have to see tomorrow if I can stand the heat long enough to find some cool plants to show you things seem to still have blooms here.

Okay so when the 16 year old computer geek can not get the blasted thing to work leave it to the well.................. older and very persistent MOM and guess what............. I can do anything.

So here are some pictures of the jewelry party that my sister-in-law and brother-in-law hosted for me last night. It is the first time I have done this kind of thing and it was great. Had a wonderful turn out and met some great people. Amazingly one of the ladies is from SD and I have even met her brother in Huron.

Notice the screen behind everyone. My brother-in-law put my web site one the overhead and my son changed pages some for me to show it off during the party.

Okay now that that is figured out I have to go and get things ready to take to Margie's tomorrow for my trunk show there. And you all thought this was a vacation. Have to work to pay for those old plane tickets you know. If you are in the area Margie's is in Crestview Florida and is one of the nicest fabric and machine stores I have ever been in.

Hi there is of course a problem with using my computer around here so I can not get my pictures we put them on a flash drive today thinking I could access them but I have been trying for over an hour and still can not figure it out. Maybe my son will get it for me tomorrow if not I guess you will get to see what I have been up too next week when I get home.

Good morning! I am in lovely steamy Florida this morning. I was home long enough Monday to do laundry and get things packed to get on the plane Tuesday. The plane was an experience in itself with the security the way it is they had to unpack both Jeff and my carry on bags as I had my beads and jewelry in them. Not looking forward to the return flight at all as Pensacola is a much busier airport and it takes forever to get things through there.

I hope to have some pictures later but we still can not make my laptop work on this wireless here at my in-laws house. Hope everyone has a glorious day.
