Well I promised a picture of the display boards and this is the second almost done one. I have the third one at least started. They all have to have the white touched up and the last clear coat put on but the hard part of painting the design is done on two. Now if I can just get enough jewelry done to fill them up.

Well I know this does not look like new beads but I have spent the last two days getting these boards painted white and now I get to start doing the black decorations for the frames. This is all for the Midwest Lampworkers Guild show that opens next weekend on the 7th. I am going to use the paintings to display my jewelry on. If you are in the Omaha area next weekend the show is at the Hotshops Gallery near the Qwest center.

Hi again I thought you might like to see some of the new sets that I am taking to the Lincoln Bead show this Saturday. It is at the State Fairgrounds in the Lancaster building and I would love it if you came by and said hello. Here is a link to the NBS web site for a map and more info. http://www.geocities.com/nebeads/bazaar2006.html

Well I did promise to post some pictures and here they are. Lots of new beads. I have so gone overboard with the etching. I seem to want to etch every bead I make but I have been refraining as much as possible. Enjoy!
I have tried twice now to upload pictures and it won't do it. The internet must be as cold as I am good grief last week the air was on and now I have a fire going and may have to kick on the heater if I want to use my fingers for anything. Any way check back later on and I will try to load the pictures.

These are a few of the new petal sets I have been making this week. I really love the gaffer glass I have been using to make some of them it gives them a wispy feeling. And of course I had to etch a set just because I have been so into etching everything this last month besides they feel like winter to me. And winter seems to be coming. It was nice and warm all last week but it was a might chilly this morning outside trying to take these pictures. I will have to put on a fall jacket to go out to the barn.

Wow! The time sure flies when you are having fun. The sidewalk Arts Festival turned out to be rather chilly and gray, but it has gotten warmer since then. Of course true to South Dakota weather we are supposed to get a freeze this weekend and we may even have snow in the western part of the state. With the coming of cold weather I have the big chore of getting wood home (once it is in the yard it is Jeff and Brandon's job to cut and split it), so I have been going every morning this past week to get wood. That does not mean I have not been making beads but I have not gotten them photographed yet. I promise to try to get some up for you to see this weekend as I have been making some pretty neat ones (at least I think so).

Well these are a couple more of the sets I am taking to the show tomorrow. Lots of bright colors. Hope everyone likes them as well as I do.

Well more new beads. I have been getting ready for this weekend when I will be at the Sidewalk Art Festival in Sioux Falls, SD. I will be there with a friend and great bead artist Jodie Marshall. If you are in town do stop by and say hello.

Well no new pictures from me today, but we did get two and a half inches of rain yesterday. We have had a lot of rain the past two weeks which if you are any where near South Dakota you know we have needed and still need more. I did get some interesting beads out of the kiln this morning but they have to be etched before I can take their pictures. Maybe tomorrow.
