Blast from the Past

I have been revisiting some of my beads from the past and these yummy transparent spirals just called out to be made up for the show.

New Etched Flower beads

While we were in Tucson I had the necklace I showed off a few months ago on display (You can see it here : http://tanyamcguire.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-new-necklace.html ). everyone wanted to know where those flowers were and I had used them pretty much all up for the necklace so I decided I had better get a batch made for the spring shows. Lots of nice soft etched colors.

Getting ready for the next few shows.

We are getting ready for my next couple of shows and I have been busy. I made some of these metallic glass wrapped beads right before going to Tucson and I have been playing with some new colors and making some more of the blue ones. Crochet Stitch Markers

 Finally I have made some stitch markers for crocheters. Took a while but I like how these work and they fit the necklace clip that the knitting markers fit.

SJ Designs and Art Bead Scene

I have been working so much this past winter to catch up that I have just not hardly been on the Internet to look around and yesterday morning I just happened to look at a couple of my favorite blogs and look what I found.  A great piece by SJ Designs that she had made for a challenge on the Art Bead Scene blog.  You should really check out both of these blogs they always have fantastic designs and ideas on them.

Back to basics.

 I had to make a few sets of basic dot beads, and I made them in some of the basic basic colors that I

love to work with over and over. This type and color of beads to me just seem classic.
