Happy! Happy! Fourth of July!I know most of you are out celebrating the Fourth of July so you will probably not see these until tomorrow but I made a goal to blog at least three times a week and I am going to really try to do it. We are just doing our same ole thing this year trying to accomplish getting some chores done. I finished up this Chocolate and Turquoise charm bracelet trying to get ready for my next show. Well it has been more than a month but I am still here.This is a bracelet that a customer bought from me several months ago and she wanted me to make her a necklace to match it so I had to give it a try.
Here is the necklace which is almost done. It does not have the clasp on it yet because she is coming over this afternoon to test the length.
And this lovely large thing is a footstool I have spent the last two days getting stuffed. I thought I never would fill up it's carnivorous insides. I got the pattern last time I was in Omaha and Lincoln with my friend Jodie. It was really easy just took forever to stuff.

Now as to where I have been. I have been right here trying to work every day, but it has not been happening very well. I seem to have been in some kind of a funk for the last month or better. It is a creative thing I think but I also have not really felt well so I do not know if it is really one or the other. I have had little funks like this before but usually I start getting more ideas than my head will allow and I get out of them. This one seems to be hanging on for the long haul. My friend Jodie and I set goals for this next month and one of mine is to blog much much more to hopefully work all this out. Any way see you again in a couple of days I promise.

Well more than a week has gone by without a post. I have been busy working as hard as I can to get ready for Saturday. So if you are in the area come on by they Studio will be open for the day all my work is out where you can see it and I will be demoing how to make glass beads. Ought to be a fun day. Don't miss it.

More new braceletsThe top bracelet and the pattern for all three are from Carole Rodgers. I did change them just a bit to use my beads instead of a button for the toggle. What can I say I have been having great fun playing with seed beads here lately.

Some new beads.I have been making twisty beads all in the shape of nuggets to make some new bracelets. Thought I would show you a few. I really like how the colors blend and stretch at the edges.

Dagger BraceletsI have had a bunch of these dagger bracelets planned for some time now just never got the time to stitch them up. I decided last week that now was the time. Needed them anyway for my summer shows. Plus for me when I do the same thing several times I get a little faster at it. Still takes forever to get one all stitched up but hey I need to stay out of trouble any way right.

Hello again! I have been gone for a week and have been so busy since getting back I have hardly any time to update here. Tsk! Tsk! I was just really being lazy this past week.While I was in Omaha doing Ed's show at the Crystal Forge I got to drewl a lot. Every open house lately they have made a scene complete with glass animals and plant life. This is the new one and oh does it look good. Ed says next year they are going to have running water to make it even more real.
Some of the plants and fish are just amazing.
I just love all these lights and keep wishing for a place to really use one in a perfect spot.
