NEW!!! cone shaped flower power beads.
These are some new cone shaped Flower Power beads. The front of the cone has the Flower Power daisy shape of my flatter Flower Power beads. These are cone or bell shaped with a ruffled lip.
I made some with a different color around the edge and some all one color.
Frankly I can not decide which way I like them better. I also have all kinds of ideas popping into my head for ways to use these and no time to work on anything since I am leaving Thursday for WI and IL.
These are pretty small. They of course kept growing as I was working but I had in my mind that they would be small.

It's Fall
School has started and lots of new fall leaves have been being made. I love to take a picture of a nice big pile of beads and leaves are always fun to make.
I made some nice big leaves. These are about 3 inches long.
I also made lots of smaller beads so I could make them up into sets for the trunk shows and my fall bead shows.
I think that pile made about 9 different sets with a few extra singles. Aren't these a yummy color? Do make sure you read my post from earlier today because all these beauties are headed to Wisconsin and Illinois for the trunk shows.

Etched fancy flowers
I made some of my fancy flowers with the simple combination of clear and black glass then etched them.
I really like how the etching makes them soft like sea glass. I made enough to take a bunch with me on my road trip of trunk shows. And even list a few on Etsy in just a few minutes.

I noticed........
..............at Stitches Midwest last month that one of my trays of really big lentils was more than half empty.
So I have made it a goal the last couple of weeks to make a few of them every day that I made beads.
I really like these red and yellow ones. The bottom one the color just seems to set off the black metallic glass so very well.
These are big beads right about an inch and a half or 37 mm across. Great focal beads.
