Time just flies by I seem to forget to post here like I want to.  Tonight I realized I didn't even do a post about my showcase in the Facebook group Glass Open Market.  You have to belong to the group to see the posts but if you are interested the entire wall is filled with my beads until tomorrow night at 9pm.  Stop by and check it out.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/GlassOpenMarket/

Long Focal Beads

I have not made long focal beads in a while.  I had so much fun playing with them for almost 2 days. These are all 2 inches long or longer.

Etched Beads

I so want to make these beads in every single color I can.  I love them they are small but bigger than a spacer.
They have a colored core under clear and then are etched.  They just have such a wonderful soft look to them.

Nice Bright colors

These are so much fun to make.  I love finding out which colors just pop against one another. I etched a batch of these as well and love them too.

Something New at Stitches South...

.......a stitch marker swap.  Stitches South is a great knitting event that we have been vendors at the last few years.  This year for the first time we are going to have a big stitch marker swap.  There is a big thread on Ravelry all about both Stitches and about the swap.
The first batch of beads I could not seem to make up my mind what I wanted to make up for the swap and the second batch I did some of my favorite saucer beads in brights.  I think I am at about 130 done so will probably make about 20 more.

New Necklace

The beads for this necklace have been laying on my work table for almost a year all set aside to make this necklace up.  I seem to not be giving myself time to make new jewelry.
That is something that I just really must change.  I love making jewelry.
I did get this piece ready in time to bring it to Omaha for the show.  So come and see it for yourself. It is so much nicer in person. I just can not seem to take great pictures of these large necklaces.  Of course we have also had rainy drizzly days all week which does not help.
I almost forgot I did make some new earrings to go with the necklace.

Shiny metallic spirals.

We are in Hopkins setting up for the show this weekend.  Please do try to come and see us.  We will be in the back by the stage again.  I know some of you missed us last fall but we have out old spot back.  Here is a link to the show website if you would like more information.  http://www.beadsbydee.com/Bazaar/bazaar.html   And look shiny metallic spirals. I am bringing a few sets of these and I think they are way prettier in person.
