..........in color from the other day. I for some reason have fall on my mind. I know it is hot outside and that we are even having heat warnings because of the heat and humidity. (Amazing cold in the winter and hot in the summer. There is no place like South Dakota.)
I just have fall colors in my mind so I had to make up just a few of my favorite fall color combo into flowers. I think they look like mums in this color.
I will of course be listing some of them on Etsy, https://www.etsy.com/shop/tanyamcguire?ref=si_shop

Another batch of etched beads
I have been working just not getting time to take pictures most days. This is a very long strand of Etched amber and turquoise beads. I put them all together to take a big picture but really think you can see them better when they are broken down into sets.
I am going to list one set on Etsy this afternoon but then I have to restring the other sets to take to my next few shows.
We leave for Stitches Midwest in Chicago the first week of August and then in September I am doing a couple of trunk shows.
I will be in WI and IL the later part of September so check back and I will tell you more about the trunk shows and the fabulous shops that are having the trunk shows.

A new Flower Necklace
A couple of weeks ago at a show a good customer made the comment that many of my new pieces of jewelry were in the bright family of colors. Boy is she right, however I had this piece started at the time and couldn't even show her.
I have been missing the copper and earth tones that I have always loved to work with but I guess have been having so much fun with the bright colors I didn't realize it until she mentioned it.
This color combination in glass is one I have loved for a long time I had just never used it on flowers until recently. The amber glass looks like copper with the hints of green patina color caused but the frit.

Of course I had to make a little pair of earrings to go with the necklace. They are the same as the little dangle on the extension chain in the back of the necklace.
