Choosy Chicks Choose Chicklets Blog Hop

I had so much fun with this project. To have one special bead to work with and go from there.  I knew almost from the start what I wanted to make with it.  A simple boho style bracelet.

 I added some of my lampwork accent beads and strung it on several cords of waxed linen.  I can hardly wait to see what everyone else did with their beads.  Below you will see a list of the artists participating and links to their blogs.  Have fun hopping I am sure I will.

Chicklets blog hop is next weekend.  I finally got around to finishing up my project which I of course can not show you until August 3rd.  I did think maybe you would like to see  a little preview.  If you go to       http://www.jewelschoolfriends.com/2014/06/choosy-chicks-choose-chicklets-suebeads.html    you can read all about the challenge there.  We were each sent a lovely little Chicklet bead from Sue Beads   from the lovely hostess Rita at Toltec Jewels  I added a few light colored matching spacer beads and some metal beads and next weekend you can find out what I made. 

Ears to You Blog Hop Reveal

 I love making earrings and should have had time to make way more than the 5 pair I was supposed to make for the Blog Hop.  But life seems to be getting in the way of my fun lately.  Have no clue why but it has.

 So yesterday I set down to make at least the ones I promised to make and these are the results.  If you haven't been reading along the earrings are going to be donated to Ears to You.  This was the great idea of Amy Freeland at Copper Diem.

 I am thinking that I can find a few more pairs in my show cases to add to the box before they head out on Monday.
