So not........

............good pictures, but since I am still not at home and doing things when there is little time and even less brain cells functioning they will have to do.  This is a new necklace I have finished since I got to Florida and it is part of my Alice's Garden series.  The title is Jabberwocky.
I had another name for it when I started but it evolved as I went until it told me it's new name.

On another note I am up to 13 hats finished but have gotten sidetracked trying to make a bag for the Art In A Bag project I do every year.  Don't know that I will get it too them in time, but I can sure try.  This is a great project and a great cause.  This year they are working to start a Beads of Courage program in Omaha, NE.

A finished necklace.

These are not the greatest pictures and I sure do miss my little photo box but I wanted to show you a new necklace.  Someone said it looked like little Mexican skirts.  And somewhere someone mentioned it looked like a Fiesta so that is what I have decided to call it.
This one has been in the planned but not made stage for more than a year.  It had been living it's life in a little Ziploc box with all the parts and pieces waiting for me to just get a round to it.  I think it said finally when I even opened the box to get it started.

On another note I am up to 11 hats and have a 12th started.

Airplane rides.........

...........and waiting rooms give me lots of time to knit and crochet.  This is the batch of hats I have made in the last couple of weeks.  I actually have two more started and not finished to add to the pile.  These are all for Halos of Hope.  I managed to get 20 hats made last year and donated them to the group when I went to the Stitches Midwest show in August.  Halos of Hope is a great organization that provides hats to cancer patients.  I would really like to get one made a week for the next year so that I can donate 52 hats but we shall see once I get home to all the normal chores.

New Alice's Garden flowers...........

...........have been made and are ready for the upcoming fall bead shows.
These are always so much fun to make because they are so bright and cheerful.
Plus I can decorate them in the wildest of ways.

Another customer request.

This is another bracelet and earring set that was requested while I was at Stitches Midwest.  She saw something else I had made with this type of bead and wanted some made up for herself.
It was really strange yesterday it took almost all day to make this bracelet because I took it apart so many times.  I just could not get something I liked at first.  I am very happy with it now but believe it or not it was difficult.
Of course there needed to be some earrings to go with and these little guys emerged.

I Have been working.

I really have.  Since we got home earlier in the week from Chicago I have been working on special orders for several people who were at the Stitches Midwest show.
A customer saw a set of beads and asked if I could turn it into a bracelet and earrings.  I can always do that so here they are.
I liked that I got to use some of the new beads and bead caps that I got while at Bead and Button.

Another Alice's Garden piece...........

............will be headed out tomorrow to Schaumburg, IL.  I have to say that our trip to the ISGB Gathering in Washington was fabulous and hectic and exhausting and fantastic.  I will have to try and fill you in more on that later, because we are headed out again first thing in the morning.  This time to the Chicago area and Stitches Midwest. I finished up this Alice's Garden piece just in time this afternoon to pack it and take it with us.
This new piece is called Alice's Garden - Caterpillar.  I have wanted to get this made since I was at Bead and Button in June.  The metal flower pieces are some that I got while at the show.
