Hi just finished up this bracelet for a friend. She bought the beads from me two summers ago and was afraid to put it together. Now she has a bracelet and can wear it and show it off.

This is another one of the bracelets that I had gotten started way last November but never finished. I guess I should just not expect to get much beading done when I go on a trip but I hate to have time on my hands with no work to do.

This design idea has been in my head for a long time and I finally got around to making it up. Now I want to do have a dozen other pieces because I really like how it turned out. And of course because I have been having so much fun lately making these huge lentils.

Well I was a bit of a bad girl today I ran all over town goofing off going to a couple of garage sales and the shoe store, all of which I plan to do again tomorrow so there may be no new beads again tomorrow. I did have a few from the other day though that I had not shown you yet so here they are. The pictures do not do them justice they really sparkle in person.

Here are a couple of new bracelets that I have been working on getting finished up the last few days. They have been hanging out on my bead table in the house partially finished since way back in November. I think you call that procrastination. I do have another one half done however and then I have a few new charm bracelets that I have been making beads to work on so the new jewelry is getting finished.

Hi I have to tell everyone that this blog is over a year old. I did not realize that I had been doing it that long. But in March of last year I started it all because of my friend Jodie. oh my see what kind of trouble friends can get you into.

Just a few more of the lentils I have been making. I took the ivory one to the bead meeting last night and sold it the minute I took it out of my pocket. And I think it was my favorite of late so guess I will have to try some more like it.

I have been having lots of fun the past few days making new giant lentils. These are just a few and I just can not decide which one I like best. Very different though than those crayon colors from a few days ago.

No the world is not flat and I did not fall off, but it seems that after a weekend of driving like last weekend it takes me longer to recover and get back into the swing of things than it used too. I was tired all week and just did not get things done as fast as I would have liked. But I do have a few pictures for you to see today and I might just have a few more tomorrow. It all depends on the kiln fairies and weather they liked my ideas from yesterday or not.
These little flowers were a request from a customer. She really could not decide on one set of colors so I have just been making them with what ever colors I am working with at the time. They are really tiny, about the size of a dime. Way smaller than my other flowers.

The old standard of lime green and black in a few of the new swirly beads I have been doing some two color disks and others. I have to make a charm bracelet in these colors so I made those beads and a few extras to make a pendent and maybe a set.

And last but not least the crayon colors for another charm bracelet. These are such happy colors and there are a bunch of them so I hope I get a set or two as well as the bracelet. I think I will.

Hello one and all I just wanted to say thank you to everyone I met at the show in Moline Sunday it was loads of fun but I am so very tired it is such a long drive home. I did come as far as Iowa Falls last night and stayed with a friends mom (Big Hugs to moms who deal with late night friends). Then I drove on home today, of course though there was shopping to do in Sioux Falls so I just got home a couple of hours ago and I am tired. No eye candy for a couple of days but soon I promise.

The weather is supposed to clear up for me to drive and so far here today it has been very nice out cold but nice and sunny. Of course I was inside getting all ready to leave in the morning but it looks pretty out there. We will just have to wait and see what kind of trouble I can get into next week till then have a nice weekend.

A few more sets. Sets have been the goal this week and I have done pretty well. But being next to the torch is not so hard when it is so cold and nasty outside. My spot in the studio is pretty warm. If it does not quit this mess soon though I might just get grumpy.

Working hard to get more sets for Moline. Here are a few. Oh and it is snowing here and hard! Got to love the fact that it is almost tax day and we are getting snow.

Well I promised some pictures to distract your eyes and here they are. A few of the new sets that I am taking to Moline IL this coming weekend. I have been in a set mode for days and cleaned enough beads today to make my fingers all prune like. I killed my old Dremel finally yesterday and went to try and replace it with no luck. Maybe tomorrow the hardware store will have one. It just makes it take longer to clean beads when I have more than one size hole because I have to change the bits back and forth. Well I hope everyone has had a Happy Easter!

Well good morning! We are back to freezing and I am going to have to switch back to my huge winter boots soon so my feet don't freeze out there on the studio floor. I can not believe this weather and I am guessing that it means we will be more than hot this summer.

I know it has been a long time since I posted pictures but I do have an excuse, well sort of. I got a call Thursday afternoon with a request that I come down to Mitchell to chat with a gallery owner and one of their artists. They are going to have sort a bead store in the back of the gallery. Any way I went down yesterday after having my car worked on and getting a kiln full of beads made (see I have been busy). I sold some beads and now have my jewelry being shown in the Prairie Breeze Gallery in Mitchell. The gallery owner like my things so much she gave me an entire glass case so I need to take her some more work very soon.

Well good morning! I did make it back from Omaha on Sunday but was exhausted to say the least. Then on Monday there were the inevitable errands that come with being gone for a couple of days and I made the decision to go to another show in Moline IL on the 15th of the month so I had all the paperwork to deal with. Yesterday I had promised my dear husband that I would get around and do our taxes. Got to love that kind of day! Today however I get to make beads Yeah!!!! and build a nice big fire as we have had snow again the last two days and the weather people say with the wind it feels like 1 degree out there. I am off to start my day hope yours is a warm one.
